CAPED crusader Batman was involved in a cartoon caper when these Halloween high jinx were caught on camera.
In scenes reminiscent of the 1960s Batman TV show, our hero found himself stranded without his loyal sidekick Robin, the Boy Wonder.
And within moments of drunkenly wandering into a yard near Newcastle's Bigg Market, he found himself confronted by a man in black.
KAPOW... Batman and the mystery man in black clash.
BIFF... on-lookers stepped in and tried to separate the pair.
SOCK... punches are thrown, but no-one is hurt.
OOF... Batman tries to run off but rips his cape.
WHAT THE?... a man dressed in a woman's leotard joins in the scrap.
HA HA... a crowd all wearing fancy dress, including one as a Caveman, gather to watch the incredible spectacle.
It all unfolded in the early hours of Sunday morning and was caught on cameras.
Police broke up the disturbance and the two protagonists were taken to Market Street Police Station and slapped with fixed penalty fines of £80.
A police spokeswoman said: "At 2.20am on November 1, police received a report of a disturbance.
"Officers attended. Two men aged 28 and 20 were arrested and have been issued with penalty notices in connection with being drunk and disorderly."
"Drunk and Disorderly?! Brawling in the streets?! No, I will not bail him out,
Boy Wonder! He's supposed to set a good example, not behave like a frat boy! Don't call me again!"
